Mina is a Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy graduate. Her life and career priority is to pursue healthy well-being through both mental/physical balance and conscientious maintenance. Her therapeutic approach is gentle and slow using forearms, elbows, and small tools to engage the body’s deep tissues. She also sees the tremendous value of incorporating myofascial techniques to help release soft tissues, and joint mobilization to maintain and improve joint issues. Her primary field of focus is low back and neck impairments, as she has dealt a history of low back injury and stress induced tight neck tension. When not at work, Mina enjoys singing, dancing, watching movies and Japanese anime, and of course working out!

A graduate of Sutherland-Chan, I believe strongly in a sensitive, client-centered massage therapy practice. I consider my treatments two sides of the same coin: a deep tissue focus to hammer out those tight muscles and knots, but on the other to hold space and encourage relaxation of the nervous system, especially for those who are seeking treatment for more than just musculoskeletal issues. Ultimately, I strive to tailor treatments to each individual with a mindful balance between the two. So whether you’re looking to address chronic pain, old injuries, fibromyalgia, anxiety/depression, or one of the many forms of PTSD, I look forward to working with you to ensure a comfortable, nurturing environment that promotes healing.

Graduating with a bachelors degree in fine arts, I taught dance and performed for years before finding another love with alternative therapy in massage. I’ll be honest, I never thought I’d get into this as a career (I mean seriously? Massaging all day?) but apparently after graduating with honors from Bryan college in 2013, I took to it very well and genuinely see it as a secondary calling to my dancing.
Intuitively dancers have an ability to connect to the human body on a deeper level and this has extended into my work as a massage therapist. I absolutely love what I do.
The connections I’ve made with my clients have immeasurably been the most satisfying professional relationships and I will always be grateful for that growth. It’s about trusting the process, enjoying the journey and embracing the results of maintaining your body.

Before pursuing Massage Therapy, the decade of pridefully working in retail and hospitality
humbled my body with chronic pain that lived rent-free. Coming from a business education
background, entering a health science field such as massage therapy was inconceivable. Today,
I am able to provide care, movement education, and the connections people need to live their
best lives.
I’ve honed my ability as a therapist over the years learning both clinical and holistic approaches.
Using NeuroKinetic Therapy (NKT), I can assess and treat dysfunctional and painful movements
beyond traditional deep-tissue massages, by understanding how the nervous system responds
to movement, and correcting faulty biomechanics. People are able to experience changes in
real-time with an NKT session, and get pleasantly surprised when their old hip surgery scar was
feeding their neck pain for years, and understand why continuously massaging the same spot
tenses back up repeatedly.
My approach is to empower all of my clients to voice any curiosities or questions about their
well-being. My goal is your goal, and any old health history is relevant history. I genuinely enjoy
lending people an ear to hear out their problems, allowing me to continuously make meaningful
connections.
